Need to find the perfect school for your children's needs and ages? The Swiss system is exceptional for those with a French background. For English, a wide variety of international schools exist. My daughters have attended both so I can give you hands-on advice.
This is a question of practicality and personality. Do you want to be surrounded by nature or do you want to pick up a bottle of milk without taking the car? It is wise to know that the main supermarkets will deliver to your house, even in the snow.
And don't forget to consider that if you want to plunge into the Swiss culture, you will make more friends along the highstreet. Perfect to practice your French!

Commuting by train or plane are easy if well planned. Lovely villages offer easy access by train or by highway to the cities and airport.
Bikes routes allow you to avoid the highway congestion. Either way the views and villages are definitely eyecatching.
The Swiss are big on enjoying their well-preserved nature. You can expect to see all ages climbing mountains, which are never more than a few minutes away. Sports of all types are available, from lake sailing, paragliding, rock climbing, biking, rowing, and obviously skiing.
For the more culturally minded, there are marvelous theatres, music festivals, restaurants and nightclubs. There is more than cheese fondu on the menu!

Verbier is among the most famous along side Zermatt, Crans Montana, and Villars. Each resort has a different flavour. Exciting & sporty or charming & fairytale.
Having lived and worked in Verbier for the past 25 years, I will select the best quality chalets and apartments at the best value. I know how long properties have been on the market, how construction costs are calculated and what are reasonable expectations.
Verbier may be pricey but it is an excellent investment as prices remain very stable.

CAR FREE AND CAREFREE
Are you more Geneva or more Lausanne? They do compete for votes.
Both sit by the Lac Léman but they are very different. Geneva is the home of giants such as the International Red Cross and the United Nations and has kilometres of luxury shops. Lausanne, on the other hand, has narrow cobbled streets and an astounding student population keeping it young and lively. Like all cities, both have different neighbourhoods that cater to different tastes so it's important to know where to look for your apartment.
I spend loads of time in both, for family, culture and shopping. My network and footwork has equipped me to know the nicest or most exciting parts of each city.
